Like Noah's Flood - Angelina

No one could have predicted a flood like this! Taylor and Maya were on a holiday staying near the beach. Late in the first day, a local warned Maya that a flood was coming. She looked out at the flat water in disbelief. Soon, rain started to pour, and it didn’t stop. People were screaming for help as their houses flooded and their kids were washed away. Taylor and Maya were about to be swept off their deck when the local who had warned them earlier reached out to them as his boat sailed by.

If I had to use one word to describe my holiday, it would be ‘rollercoaster’.

Lots of ups and downs. There can be wins also losses. This rule applied to me in football games, pets, shows, travelling.
I won all my local football games for Newton & Chilwell, but the Kangas lost some in the AFL. My Grandpa’s dog drowned, but I still enjoyed the company of what I had. I went to town   v, and I saw ‘The Wizard of Oz’ and ‘The Incredibles’, but also suffered a lot of jetlag.

Just one of the rollercoasters to ride at a theme park.

Simple Holidays are Great- Jack

If I had to use one word to describe my holiday, it would be ‘simple’.
Firstly, my Grandparents came for a week which was great because of the delicious food that my grandma makes like caramel slice, egg and bacon pie and cookies. Also I went mountain biking many times with my sister and dad or just my dad and I. With a few crashes it was still a great holiday. And Because my family are new to the area, we visited the chocolate factory and enjoyed scrumptious ice-cream and chocolate. Over all it was a simple yet great holiday.

My Lively Holiday - Ted N

If I had to use one word to describe my holiday, it would be “lively”.
I chose the word lively because we went on a little boat that could fit five families and there was a yellow bit on the side and you could sit on it and it was bumpy because of all the waves, I chose the side that got soaked. We went to a beach called Horseshoe Bay and Hamilton and I were backflipping off Charlie’s shoulders. We were so close to going to a naked beach, but we went to Horseshoe Bay instead.
This is a brief explanation of my lively holiday.

If I had to use one word to describe my holiday, it would be ‘intellectual’. In my holidays, I went with a tour group to America. The whole theme was to visit all the famous universities there. Some of them really inspired me, MIT reminded me of the importance of technology and engineering, and has become my dream uni. Harvard was often referred to as ‘The Business School’, and I really liked the energetic vibe that surrounds the gigantic campus.
‘Intellectual’ would be the best fit for this trip. I feel refreshed and ready for school again after the trip.

If I had to use one word to describe my holiday, it would be “adventurous” because I went to HEAPS of places during the holidays.

First, we went to Port Douglas and went to a hotel on the beach.  We went to the Great Barrier Reef on a speed boat. It only took 15 minutes to get there. Wow!

We went to Palm Cove after Port Douglas. It was so pretty there. We went into the only heated pool in Palm Cove!

We watched the Cats beat the Swans at the SCG. We saw family in Sydney.

That is the end to a Great holiday!

If I had to use one word to describe my holiday it would be “fun”. I did lots of fun things in the holidays. We went to Adelaide to see my grandparents. In Adelaide we saw The Incredibles movie. We went to a trampoline park called Altitude and you could also rock climb there. In the holidays we also went to Mt Buller to ski. We did blue and green runs, we ate jam donuts and dim sims and we saw Hamilton there. In conclusion I had a super great holiday spending time with my family

If I had to describe my holidays in one word it would have to be interesting. That's mainly because it’s interesting to see everyone at Mt Buller zooming down a mountain at 50km an hour! Crashing into people or just getting down to the bottom and realising that there is absolutely NO way they are going to be able to stop before the chairlifts. You can’t help but laugh to yourself and just watch the skis go flying into the air and land in the snow. Also spending time with my family was fun, and I can’t wait to do it again!

If I had to use one word to describe my holiday it would be ‘exceptional’ and you are about to find out why…
To start off my exceptional holiday we drove all the way to Victor harbor in South Australia it was a 10-hour drive but we had so much fun while we were over there tasting billions of cheeses and fudges.
We came home about a week later to our house in Anglesea and the rest of my exceptional holiday was spent mountain biking, surfing and spending time with family.
Time with family means everything to me!

Something in Between - Angelina

If I had to use one word to describe my holidays it would be fine.
The reason I chose this word was because even though I spent my birthday watching my brothers play soccer, I had a fun time cheering on the boys and hanging out with my friends. Unfortunately, when I got back home, my rabbit had died. I was devastated but I was with my family, so I felt better. Having fun and laughing with my friends reminded me not to focus on the bad things.
Although I had some unfortunate times in the holidays, it was one to remember!

My Exhilarating Noosa Expedition - Charlotte

If I had to use one word to describe my holiday it would be ‘exhilarating’.
The reason being that in the first week of holidays I went to Noosa for nine days and that was fantastic; it was warm and the water at the beach was incredibly refreshing. I went with my Mum, Gran, Dad and my big sister. When we got back to Geelong it was freezing. On the last Friday of school holidays, I went to the Carlton vs. St. Kilda game and I had an incredible amount of delicious seafood.
Therefore, my holiday was ‘exhilarating’.

The Fitzgerald 7th Heaven Holiday - Jemima

If I had to use one word to describe my holiday, it would be…. ‘7th heaven’. Why did I use that word to describe my holiday? The first reason was that I wanted to get out of the cold. The other one was that I got to surf every day and stay there for 3 hours. Every day, I could wake up, not to the sound of cars or trains, but to the joyful sound of the birds tweeting and the waves crashing. There was no need to put on a jumper. Everything about my holiday was ‘7th heaven’.

.“If I had to use one word to describe my holiday, it would be “cheerful.” The one thing I would love to tell you about is I went to Ballarat!
I just really liked Ballarat I just can’t forget anything that happened in Ballarat. Before there was gold in this ancient town, but the English people were take all the gold from there, so now this is just a town. All the people in this town wore beautiful dresses, I like their dresses, because they look very elegant when they wear it.
Ballarat make me so cheerful!
