Victory-Aiden

I ran upstairs to get my pink sweater. I wanted to look good for the cooking a competition. I ran down the stairs and jumped in the car only to find it had broken down. I was so nervous I decided I should run. After a kilometre, there was a ginormous river in front of me and no bridge. I sprinted through. It was exhausting. I arrived just in time for the competition. I held my breath as the judges tasted the chicken soup I had cooked. They said it was the best they had ever tasted. I was victorious!

What amazing endurance, Aiden!

I really liked the energy through your piece and how your character overcame obstacles and powered on.

Next time find some of those overused words like, ' good' and try and find another word to pack even more punch into your work.

I was right there with you when you were holding your breath. I'm glad it worked out so well. Love that last word choice! Keep on writing!
